When assigning patients to examination rooms from the waiting area, CHIME intelligently considers the clinician's current location and anticipated movements, as well as the overall layout of the clinic. This strategic approach ensures that patient flow is optimized and minimizes unnecessary delays.

For instance, if a physician is currently attending to a patient in Room 3, the system will preferentially assign the next patient to either Room 2 or Room 4. By doing so, CHIME enhances operational efficiency and facilitates a seamless transition between appointments, ultimately contributing to improved patient care and satisfaction.
