Patient prioritization

Normally, if there’s a patient that needs to be roomed out of order, or manually, they can be advanced or dragged into a room immediately as needed.

However, if the clinic has no available rooms, this can be challenging because the auto-pilot operates in the background oftentimes faster than a human can react.

A “patient prioritization” feature is available to handle these situations.

To trigger this feature:

  • attempt to “advance” a patient like normal, even though there is no room available.

  • a pop-up will appear asking if the patient should be prioritized above others.

  • If “yes”:

    • this visit will now be prioritized to be roomed into the next available appropriate room.

    • a star will appear next to the patient’s name
