Re-announcement Feature
This feature enhances the communication process between providers and patients by allowing providers to re-trigger a room announcement on the waiting room television for patients who may have missed the initial notification. Effective communication is essential in ensuring that patients receive timely information regarding their appointments, and this functionality is designed to address that need.
When a patient is auto-roomed by the CHIME system, they will still be in the "pink state" on CHIME which signifies that the provider has not yet checked in with the patient. In instances where a patient does not arrive in the designated room—often due to missing the original announcement in the waiting area—the provider can take immediate action to rectify the situation. Using the tablet, the provider can easily initiate a re-announcement to ensure that the patient is informed and can proceed to the appropriate room without unnecessary delays.
To activate this feature, the provider simply clicks the ‘i’ button on the tablet interface and selects the re-announcement option. This streamlined process not only facilitates efficient patient flow but also enhances the overall patient experience by minimizing confusion and ensuring that patients receive the attention they require in a timely manner. By leveraging this capability, clinics can foster a more responsive and patient-centered environment, ultimately improving care delivery and patient satisfaction.
