How to Restart your CHIME Waiting Room Display
If your CHIME waiting room display is not working, one potential solution is to reboot the TV companion device that is plugged into the TV. This device is what connects to CHIME, and sends a signal to your TV. It is usually placed behind the TV, or sometimes attached with velcro.
This device will have two cables connected to it:
an HDMI cable plugged into the TV
a power cable plugged into a power outlet
To reboot the device, simply disconnect the power cable, wait 5 seconds, and reconnect it. It will automatically re-boot.
If you can’t reach the cable, you can also contact your CHIME account manager. They have the ability to remotely reboot the device for you as well.
