Logs
CHIME by default will keep track of most human interactions. If the desired data is not available within the exported data, please contact your Account Manager. More data can be supplied if available.
How to View Logs
You can access your logs directly through CHIME by:
Click the ‘hamburger’ icon (three horizonal lines)
Select ‘Log’ from the menu
Select the relevant time period you would like to review and click ‘Filter’
How to check that your patients are being auto-roomed through logs
If you would like to know if your patients were / are being autoroomed, you can view this information through your Logs in CHIME.
Access your logs as per the above instructions
Select the relevant time period you would like to review and click ‘Filter’
The logs will display as below, and will show ‘Automatically Roomed’ if the system is running normally
If you have further questions, or would like our team to investigate a specific situation, kindly contact us for assistance.
What is Loading the State and how do I do it?
‘Loading the State’ will take you to the exact moment in time in clinic that you select, so you are able to see exactly what happened moments before or after the log you select.
Access your logs as per the instructions at the top of this page
Click on the blue log that you would like to view
Note: not every log can be loaded (saving the state has a lot of complications so running it for every log would kill the system!)
Once you click on the log, it will open CHIME to that moment in time
Click ‘Prev’ or ‘Next’ to "replay" the next steps or "rewind" and see what happened in CHIME
IP Search Box
Sometimes it can be hard to know who did what in CHIME logs, since there aren’t separate logs ins for staff members. Searching the IP can tell you which specific computer completed which tasks as each computer has different IPs.
How to identify who completed an action in CHIME logs
As mentioned above, it is sometimes hard to know who did what in CHIME logs, as the logs are identified by IPs rather than separate log ins for staff members.
You can see which IP completed a specific action in the logs - it is the 7-8 digit number at the end of each log (highlighted in the screenshot).
To find out the IP of the computer simply go to CHIME’s admin section and it will be at the bottom (“MY IP:” circled in the lower screenshot).
In this example, you can see that the IP address of the computer/device that was responsible for manually rooming the patient to Room 01 this morning was 10.87.2.33
