Removing Patients From the Virtual Orchestration Queue
There may be times when you need to remove a patient from your queue. For example, if you have already spoken to a patient, such as situations where you’re running ahead of schedule, you may want to remove the patient from the queue so that admin doesn’t call them to check them in.
Hover over the left side of patient’s name in the CHIME queue. A red X will appear.
Click on the X.
The patient should disappear from the queue.
If the patient has already checked in, such as situations where the patient has checked in late and you won’t be calling them, you can simply delete their appointment.
Click on the appointment - you’ll get a popup
Beside the visit, click on the trash can
When you’ve deleted the visit, click “Delete Patient” at the bottom of the popup
In either case, when a virtual patient is removed or deleted from CHIME, they’re advised that their appointment has been cancelled.
