Appointment Data Available from Telus CHR (Collaborative Health Record)

When we import EMR appointment data into CHIME, we can access different data from different EMRs. Here’s the specific data fields we can access from Telus CHR (Collaborative Health Record).


For Telus CHR (Collaborative Health Record) we have access to the following information for each appointment:

  • Visit Type (Physical or Virtual)

  • Start Date & Time

  • End Date & Time

  • Location *

  • Provider

  • Appointment Type (a.k.a. Service) *

  • Status

  • Tags *

  • Presenting Issue (a.k.a. Reason)

  • Note

We also have access to the patient’s information for whom the appointment is scheduled. This information is:

  • Health ID

  • Name (First name, Last name, and Preferred name)

  • Date of Birth

  • Personal Health Number

  • Email

  • Home phone, cell phone

* For these fields we have access to the unique ID that CHR uses for the location, service, etc. Some work is required to map the ID to a name that a human can read / understand.

Each of these data fields can be used for the purpose of applying rules and templates.
