Telus PS Manual Export

Instructions for manually exporting appointments from Telus PS for manual import into CHIME.


Two files need to be manually exported from Telus PS for manual import into CHIME.  The first file has most of the necessarily information, but is missing the patient name. The second file supplies the patient name.

Exporting the main file:

  1. Log into Telus PS

  2. Open up the Appointments window

  3. Click on the Appointments menu item

  4. Click on the Utilities submenu and choose the Export Appointments option

  5. Select All Providers to Export and adjust the Start and End dates appropriately (usually the start and end date should be the same)

  6. Click Export, and save the file to your local machine.

Export the second file:

  1. Return to the main window

  2. Click on the Reports menu item

  3. Click on the Custom Queries submenu and choose the Appointments with Text option

  4. Adjust the Start and End dates appropriately (usually the start and end date should be the same)

  5. Leave the text field blank

  6. Click OK

  7. A new window should appear showing all of the applicable appointments

  8. Click the Report menu item

  9. Click the Utilities submenu and choose the Save as CSV option

  10. Save the file to your local machine
