Focus Mode for the CHIME Dashboard
Focus Mode allows individual clinicians or staff members to focus-in on just themselves, their rooms and their patients within the CHIME Dashboard.
When Focus Mode is enabled, the CHIME Dashboard filters itself to show only information relevant to the selected person. This includes their scheduled appointments, their queue, their preferred rooms, and their assigned patients. Focus Mode is designed to help clinicians and staff reduce visual noise and quickly understand what they need to act on next.
How it works
When Focus Mode is active, the CHIME Dashboard dynamically filters its content so that only items associated with the selected clinician or staff member are displayed.
This includes:
Their scheduled appointments
Their queue
Their preferred rooms
Their patients
All other unrelated Dashboard information is hidden from view. The Dashboard continues to update in real time, ensuring that changes to schedules, queues, or room activity are reflected immediately. Focus Mode does not change the underlying data or assignments. It only affects what is visible on the Dashboard for that session.
Enabling Focus Mode
Focus Mode can be enabled directly from the CHIME Dashboard without any additional configuration:
Locate your name on the CHIME Dashboard
Double-click your name
Once activated, the CHIME Dashboard will automatically filter itself to show only information related to you.
