“Room Only” mode for the CHIME Dashboard
“Room Only” mode allows clinics to display the CHIME Dashboard with only rooms visible, hiding both the Scheduled and Queue columns.
This feature is primarily intended for wall-mounted displays where clinicians and staff need a quick, visual understanding of room usage across the clinic. By removing scheduling and queue information, the CHIME Dashboard becomes easier to scan at a distance and more appropriate for use in semi-public clinical areas.
How it works
When “Room Only” mode is enabled, the CHIME Dashboard loads into a simplified view that displays rooms only. The Scheduled and Queue columns are completely hidden, while room status information continues to update in real time. All existing room indicators and status changes behave the same way as they do in the standard CHIME Dashboard view.
“Room Only” mode can be configured to show either three or four columns of rooms to accommodate different screen sizes and display setups. This is especially useful for wall-mounted TVs or monitors placed in hallways, nurse stations, or shared clinical workspaces where staff may be viewing the Dashboard from several feet away.
The column layout ensures that room information remains readable and easy to interpret at a glance.
Enabling “Room Only” mode

Related Features
The CHIME Dashboard can be configured to use other URL parameters allowing clinics to customize how information is presented based on their needs and environment:
“Filter by Group” mode — filters the CHIME Dashboard to only show information associated with a specific group (e.g. nurses, reception, or clinical team)
“Privacy” mode — limits the visibility of patient-identifying information on the CHIME Dashboard, for use in shared or semi-public environments
“Focus” mode — allows individual clinicians or staff members to focus-in on just themselves
